Залито: DepositeFiles + LetitbitThe dutch progressive metal band SYMMETRY's previous album "To divinity" was a very promising and recommendable CD. "Watching the unseen" shows that the band continues to go it's own way as the compositions are more complex, more varied and not as catchy as the preceding album (except the great opener Mission). During some parts of the album, SYMMETRY remind me of the FATES WARNING albums "Inside out" (i.e. Raging planet) and "Pleasant shade of grey" (i.e. Land evermore) but SYMMETRY are unique enough to sound their own way. "Watching the unseen" contains evil smashers (Slave) and sensitive (but still complex) songs (Burning bridges, Slave) as well. As the compositions are not as straight as on "To divinity", the vocals could be a bit too difficult for some parts of the audience. A keyboard would have added some atmospheric and dramatic spots and turns on the album which - as not keyboards are used - is very compact. So this album takes more time to be able to show you it's secrets ... and there are many of them ! 6 points
