Although Herrmann's compositions for the films "Jason and the Argonauts" and "Three Worlds of Gulliver" are given the full treatment on other releases and are underrepresented here, it is the cues from the Harryhausen classic "Mysterious Island" that is the real treat. Herrmann's music for the film adapted from the Wells story is as thrilling as anything that the author could have imagined. "The Prelude", "The Balloon Ride", "The Giant Crab", "The Giant Bees", and the dynamic "The Giant Bird" rank as some of the best of Herrmann's long and illustrious career.

Review: Sky Architect’s debut CD can best be described as symphonic, complex, dynamic, versatile and ambitious. Their music is complex structured with a lot of instrumental freedom . Vintage keys add to the symphonic, warm character of Sky Architect’s sound. You can often hear a hint of bands such as King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Flower Kings, Porcupine Tree and Pain Of Salvation in their music. Renowned rock illustrator Mark Wilkinson, famous for his work with Marillion and Fish, created the artwork for the CD.
