Xscape - Super Hits (2008)

Sony BMG's identikit budget line Super Hits series should be ideal for Xscape, a group that placed ten singles on the R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart from 1993 through 1999. Even though there are ten slots on the disc, which would make it a perfect fit, neither "Love on My Mind" (a number 16 hit in 1994) nor "Can't Hang" (a number nine hit in 1996) is included, and the same goes for the moderately successful "Tonight." Still, this is a cheap way to obtain most of Xscape's best known material. Any way you cut it, the group's discography does deserve a little better than this.
