VA - Nova Tunes 08 (2003)

France's Radio Nova puts out these Nova Tunes compilations, all of which compile recent dance singles that fall within the various realms of house and downtempo club music. The tracks are provided in full, free of mixing, making them desirable for those who want to stay on top of matters without buying all of the 12" singles. A good percentage of the tracks Nova licenses from the labels weren't available on CD prior to being compiled, making the series something of a service in the process. The eighth volume of the series features Luomo's "The Present Lover," Miss Kittin's "Stock Exchange," Ellen Allien's "Wish," Pulseprogramming's "Blooms Eventually," and Rhianna's "World Love (4hero Remix)."
