Jay B. Jay - Over Seas

You could call him gentle giant, a big man with a broad smile, lovingly dedicated to his wife and newly born daughter. His name: Jay B. Jay. The tenderness he expresses towards people finds its most striking outlet in his music, which is characterized in two words: Flow-Motion.

Jay B. Jay started his classical piano training when he was eight years old. By the time he turned 28 he had studied at various academies jazz, harmony, classical composition and in the USA majoring at the Boston Berkley College of Music in jazz composition and arranging.

While living close to the beach in Boston he developed two dreams: to own a peaceful home on the seaside and to make music for living. With a friend he built and managed probably the most advanced and best equipped recording studio in Israel, only to find out that the music and recording business kept him from what he wanted to do most: compose and play music himself.

He decided to leave the studio management and return to his musical roots, still remembering and working on the second dream, the home on the beach. So this album, "Over Seas", came totally natural to him and all the compositions reflect Jay B. Jay's feelings towards the sea: love, respect, admiration and care for the abundant lifeforms that the oceans of the world given to us.

The swirling waters, the ocean's peaceful powers and its natural majestic strength, the cycle of life that is inherent in the sea and the repetitive endlessness of waves, stroking the world's shores is part of Jay B. Jay's music. Listening to his music is like taking a totally natural, positive journey to that peaceful. sunny island in your dreams, riding on the crest of the perfect wave.
