Julianne Hough is the self-titled debut album of American country singer, and professional dancer, Julianne Hough. The album was released on May 20, 2008 on Mercury Nashville Records. After its release, the album debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200, selling about 67,000 copies during its first week. The album was produced by David Malloy. Hough's debut album also debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart May 28, 2008. The album has sold 490,000 copies in the United States. The lead single off the album, "That Song in My Head", was released the week of March 3, 2008, and peaked at number 18 on that chart. "My Hallelujah Song" was released as the second single on September 22, peaking at number 44 and the music video was ranked number 48 on GAC's Top 50 Videos of the Year list. Почитал коменты на разных сайтах под этой группой за 2012 год... оказывается "до сих пор" не все (старшее поколение) еще знают историю легендарной песни "Venus" (1969) в исполнении группы "Shocking Blue", "Venus" ни что иное как кавер версия песни "The Banjo Song" (1963) в исполнении группы "The Big 3", но... "The Banjo Song" является тоже кавер-версией песни "Oh! Susanna" (1848), "Banjo On My Knee" это второе название песни "Oh! Susanna", по звучанию ближе всех к "Venus" конечно "The Banjo Song"... , я речь о плагиате не затрагиваю... т.к. большинство хитов 60-х, 70-х, 80-х, 90-х, да и по настоящее время... написаны и исполненны еще в 50-е - 60-е годы другими исполнителями.

Mor Karbasi is a singer-songwriter born in Jerusalem, and now based in Seville after five years in London. One of her main projects is Ladino music, also known as Judezmo, Spanyolit, or Sephardic - the ancient language and music of the exiled Jews of Spain. She writes original material, as well as singing traditional songs. She has been compared to Mariza and Yasmin Levy, but has a strongly individual sound, whichever type of music she sings.
