Electric Food was a German heavy prog rock band which included all "Lucifer's Friend" musicians except John Lawton. So along with "Brother T. & Family", "The Pink Mice" & "Asterix" this is another pre-Lucifer's Friend outift. Music from their 2 albums "Electric Food"(1970) and "Flash"(1971) is similar to LF's debut record. Mix of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath & Uriah Heep influences + inch of Krautrockish psychedelia. In general it's much less progressive than "The Pink Mice" creation but much more prog than "Asterix"
Their own versions of such classics as "Whole Lotta Love" and "House of the Rising Sun" are excellent cover songs.
