In June 2016 legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore made his much-anticipated return to rock music as Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow played three concerts in Europe, two in Germany and one in England. The two German shows at Loreley and Bietigheim were caught on camera to produce this concert film Memories In Rock. The setlist, combining classic tracks from both Deep Purple and Rainbow, was exactly what the fans had wished for and Ritchie Blackmore proved that he remains one of the finest guitarists of all time. Im Juni 2016 kehrte die Legende Ritchie Blackmore zurück zu seinen Rock-Wurzeln und spielte zu diesem Anlass drei Shows in Europa. Die ersten beiden Shows, auf der Loreley sowie in Bietigheim (bei Stuttgart) wurden mitgeschnitten und das Ergebnis ist nun eine Live-Veröffentlichung, auf die die Rock-Welt mit großer Erwartung blickt. Die Liveshows waren ein absoluter Erfolg mit einer gut eingespielten Band, einem gut aufgelegten Ritchie Blackmore und einem sorgfältig und sehr gut gewählten Sänger. Ronnie Romero konnte auf ganzer Linie glänzen mit einer glasklaren, sehr dynamischen und ausdrucksstarken Stimme. Dargeboten wurden sämtliche Hits, an denen Ritchie Blackmore in seiner langen Karriere beteiligt war, von Deep Purple, über Rainbow und so waren mit dabei unter anderem: „High-way Star“, „Man On The Silver Mountain“, „Mistreated“, „Spotlight Kid“, „Black Night“ und „Stargazer“.Album: «Memories in Rock: Live In Germany (Japan)»
