За сценическим именем Merkaba скрывается музыкант, продюсер и автор музыки из Blue Mountains (Австралия) Yaygon Lamagaia. В декабре 2010 года с лейбла Zenon музыкант выпустил свой очередной релиз Awaken (Пробуждая) в стиле традиционного psy trance.
Само название Merkaba взято из раздела метафизики и эзотерики, и означает световое тело человека в форме звёздного тетраэдра, способное перемещаться в пространстве-времени, а также путешествовать между измерениями.
