Легендарный бар Cafe Del Mar, расположенный на побережье Испании, на протяжении многих лет поставляет на музыкальный рынок компиляции, отобранные диджеями бара. Изначально музыкальные жанры композиций включали направления ambient и easy listening, но с течением популяризации клубного house, Del Mar не заставил себя ждать, и периодически выпускает качественные сборники отборного deep house. Этот поджанр хауса имеет более глубокое, атмосферное звучание, который может включать в себя элементы музыки джаза, и эмбиента, а также иметь соло-сопровождение клавишных инструментов, например, электрооргана или фортепиано.
