Composer and guitarist Francisco Mário was born on 1948 in Minas Gerais state. He studied guitar, economics, graduate studies in systems engineering , was a journalist and music critic .
Since five years of age, Chico showed musical interest playing bongo, conga and guitar, with the encouragement of his brother Betinho, which met with their class and heard Bach, Tchaikovsky and Chopin.
