Info:
wiki Norwegian jazz rock player, composer, keyboardist and bandleader, born March 21, 1955 in Oslo.
In Norway he has his own group as well as having been part of some important prog-rock and jazz-rock groups, as:
Ruphus (left the group but was a member again on their last tour in 1981) Hawk On Flight Moose Loose Blow Out Grafitti
Since temporally living in the USA he also has been known as Haakon Graf.
A sweet 80s fusion set from keyboardist Haakon Graf – one that changes up his sound a bit from the decade before, thanks to a shift in technology on both the keyboards and the way the album was produced! There's a playful vibe to the set that echoes some of the image on the cover – and although the set's pretty heavy on keys from Haakon, there's also some saxes from Arne Frang, and nice use of acoustic percussion dcown at the core – which makes for a good mix with the electric elements. The vibe's a bit like the shift George Duke made in the mid 80s – and titles include "Good Groove", "Mistura Fina", "Cruise", "Lovesong", "Summer Talk", and "My Intension".
