CONFUSION - GENESIS - 2001

Genesis, by the Greek fusion phenomenon Confusion, is the group's second CD, and again features Achilleas Diamantis on guitar, Panagiotis Haramis on bass and Takis Intas on drums. The trio's music is a combination of different sounds, both traditional and modern, incorporating alternative styles and elements into a single theme within their music. Very brief vocals infuse "Where R U?", while spoken word missives open and close the CD ("Intro" and "Ending"), but by and large this is an all instrumental album. Genesis furthers the creative spontaneity Confusion presented on their debut, as the group includes surprising sonic elements, and a number of twists and turns in every piece. These guys are tight!
