Fishel / Sax Voyage (2008)

Fishel(Efim Pustelnik/Фима Дымов в Союзе), , composer and musician plays piano, saxophone and violin.For many years, he successfully worked in Russia as a musical director with a very famous pop group “True Friends”/"Верные Друзья". His compositions were constantly performed on radio and television. Fishel currently resides with hisfamily in Toronto where he organized and established a music studio “F&N Enterprise” where gifted children take piano, keyboard and saxophone instructions.
Fishel is an arranger with many years of experience in this field. His latest projects included collaborations with the Hal Leonard Company (the biggest Publisher Company in the World) on eleven play-along series books, such as Broadway Hits, Jazz Standards, Pop Rock Ballades and others.Also Fishel is working for Mayfair Music Publications (Canadian Company). He has made arrangements for few books "Leila Fletcher Piano Course" (Books 3-6). Recently Fishel’s Company, F&N Enterprise, published 4 books of his compositions titled "Jazz & Pop Piano Paradise" and Volume 1 of "Jazz & Pop Sax Paradise" These books include original compositions in different styles. The compositions are geared towards teaching beginner and intermediate students of piano, and have been extensively tested in the teaching environment. The compositions are easy to read, fun to play and sound professional when performed. The books have become a commercial success and a hit with music teachers and students in Canada. (Thousands books already sold in Canada). They are also starting to enter the US, Brazil, Norway, Russia, Holland, Israel, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Luxemburg and UK markets. "Thank you for sending this C.D. I thought "Sax Paradise" would be a hard act to follow but "Sax Voyage" is an absolutely brilliant recording. Superbly crafted from first to last the Musicianship is top quality, which complements the mixture of Tempos and Rhythms throughout.
