Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1970 album from the British singer, songwriter and performer. During the '60s songwriters Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway scored international hits as alter ego's David & Jonathan. These were produced by George Martin's AIR (London) Productions Company, and subsequently Roger Cook maintained his association for three solo albums. Study was Cook's debut and originally released through EMI's
Columbia label. The LP was predated by three singles from 1968 and 1969, all here, and as a further bonus we have another three singles released during 1970 and 1971. Highlights on the collection include two stunning duets with future New Seeker Eve Graham. Also the first recorded version of Elton John's 'Skyline Pigeon', a single for Cook in 1968 when he bought the song publishing. All give rein to Cook's expressive vocals, and he chose songs by Jerry lordan, Hammond & Hazelwood, George Harrison as well as the Cook & Greenaway catalog to showcase his style. RPM.
