The musical autobiography of an entertainer!

Tom Gaebel celebrated his 50th birthday this year – a milestone that also holds a very special meaning for him. To mark the occasion, his first autobiographical album in German, titled "Kleiner Junge, große Reise," is being released. "When you celebrate a milestone birthday, you tend to take a kind of personal inventory," explains Tom Gaebel. This album is his musical and personal retrospective, a journey through memories, significant moments, and inspirations.

The first single from the album, which will be released this summer, is titled "Und alle hab'n klatscht" (And Everyone Clapped), based on the radio hit "Everytime We Touch" by Maggie Reilly, and will be released on May 16, 2025! The song tells the story of Tom's very first performance in front of an audience – a pivotal moment that laid the foundation for his musical career. In addition to autobiographical cover versions of major hits, Tom Gaebel also composes and writes his own songs, which will also be featured on the album. The album promises an emotional blend of memories, personal stories, and new sounds – an album that will delight both long-time fans and new listeners.

And the best part: In 2026, Tom Gaebel will embark on a major German tour with these songs! Fans can look forward to an exciting live show where he will present his new songs as well as well-known classics.

"Kleiner Junge, große Reise" (Little Boy, Big Journey) is an album full of heart, memories, and inspiration. The multiple Jazz Award-winning artist has been a successful singer and entertainer since 2004. He passionately combines crisp big band sounds with the captivating lightness of easy listening, captivating audiences throughout Germany and internationally with charm and style. In total, Tom Gaebel has released over ten albums to date.
