Soulful progressive rock in the same vein as Affinty and Brian Auger and The Trinity featuring Julie Driscoll. Their sole 1970 album is often criticized for the fact that it is not progressive enough. Apparently with a name like Dada they were expecting something along the lines of Parsons Sound or International Harvester, but instead Dada sounds like a combination of Chicago and Blood, Sweat and Tears type "jazz-rock" and the Canterbury rock movement. True there are some weak and directionless moments, but when they are on, they are amazing (i.e. "This is My Song" and "She Walks Away"). Features Elkie Brooks and Robert Palmer who eventually would join Vinegar Joe and had fairly high profile solo careers.
