The Belgian group released this only album that mixes elements
of
jazz,
funk, brass
rock,
blues and
progressive rock.
Previously the band acted as a support band for the brothers
Jess & James and was called The J.J. Band.
When they split up, the group still released two albums
before changing their name to Plus.
The band was formed by guitarist Fran?ois Edouard GY Weyer (better known under
his artist name Francis Goya - also played with the band Placebo),
drummer Bruno Castellucci (who in addition to releasing solo albums, participated
as a member of The J.J. Band and Solis Lacus), guitarist Leslie Kent
(real name Guy Theisen - participated in Placebo's album "Ball of eyes" [1971]),
trumpeter Douglas Lucas (who recorded two albums with The S.S.O. Orchestra
and released two solo albums - "Niara" from 1975, and "Chiaroscuro" from 1977)
bassist Yvan de Souter (The J.J. Band, Placebo), saxophonist
Ralph Benatar and trombonist Mike Lovell.
