Before they went onto become more serious jazz musicians, Italian players Franco D'Andrea and Giovanni Tommaso headed up this legendary prog-fusion ensemble during the early and mid 70s. The band mixed electric keyboards, heavy guitars, and very spacey reed solos into a heavy blend of tracks that owed a lot to some of Miles' electric experiments, and trends that were going on in the German prog scene. D'Andrea's tight piano keeps the album from getting too out at any point, and adds a warm sense of lyrical beauty that paces the tracks very nicely! Titles include " Posto Di Non So Dove" and "Un Respiro" (these two tracks feature vocals by Tommaso), "Azimut", "Grandangolo", "36 Degrees Parallelo" and more.
