Big Sleep biography [progarchives.com]
A Welsh-oriented one-off project BIG SLEEP were formed substantially as an offshoot of EYES OF BLUE, a late 60s psychedelic
blues band. Their lineup were Phil RYAN (organ, piano), Ritchie FRANCIS (bass, piano, voices), John WEATHERS (drums, voices), Raymond WILLIAMS (guitars), and Gary Pickford-HOPKINS (voices, guitars). In 1971 their one and only album "Bluebell Wood" (also mentioned as the third album of EYES OF BLUE) was released via Pegasus Records. After being disbanded, Phil and John had joined a British psych vanguard MAN.
