The author of the music and lyrics were , however , a Frenchman - Robert Lelievre, who was both a vocalist . In the early sixties Lelievre had deserted from the French army and was forced to flee the country. A few years later destiny brought him to Copenhagen. Lelievre was among their local hippies, musicians made ??the acquaintance of two years and played in a folk trio "Cy, Maia & Robert". In the period before the formation of "Pan" was a trip to London studio work with Julie Driscoll, John McLaughlin, other famous musicians who appreciated the songwriting ability Lelievre, but little tangible dividends to no avail , even though some of the songs and heard in radio broadcasts . Returning to Denmark , Robert joined his brothers , who bore the name of a complex Puggaard-Muller, who hatched a plan to create a new band after the breakup of his former band. In August 1973 Robert Lelievre had committed suicide and , as he wrote one of his contemporaries , the ignorant world has lost one of its best composers .
