THE BAND:
Raphael Montechiari - Keyboards; Guilherme Rael - Vocals; Mateus Andrade - Drums; Filipe Andrade - Bass; Daniel Drummond - Guitars Apfter having been involved in several brazilian bands from various musical backgrounds, Raphael MONTECHIARI recorded his first album in the year 2009. Jointly published by the Musea and Rock Symphony labels, "How Was The Future ?" logically gives plenty of space for his beloved intrument: the keyboards. But this would be unfair not to mention the fact that Raphael MONTECHIARI PROJECT is supposed to be a real band. One could even say that the twelve tracks here show a remarkable team spirit. Musically speaking, we're most of the time getting away from the traditional Seventies symphonic music dear to the South-American School, to join the ranks of the best current Progressive rock trend. The lyrics sung (In English) by Guilherme RAEL surprisingly tend to sound not unlike the excellent Sebastian HARNACK (SYLVAN), as evidenced in the song "Delayed". But as you could never escape from your origins, the influences from EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER or PINK FLOYD are still around... Just excellent !
