Sacred is talented band, formed in the year 2000 and ready to let loose their own style of Progressive Hard Rock / Metal. Before the release of "Beyond The End Of The World", they've recorded two self produced demo's which was actually the start of a bright looking career. Well known Metal magazines such as Rock Hard, Kerrang and Metal Hammer gave the band great reviews. So, they get what they deserve, a first full length album containing 9 tracks ranges from Classic Hard Rock to Progressive Melodic Rock / Metal influenced by bands like: Queensryche (Operation Mindcrime period), Dokken or Dream Theater.

Their vocalist Uri Canalias has a unique voice. High, clean, powerful and melodic vocal lines that cuts through your flesh and bone for sure. Guitar works are mostly taking straight out of the eighties period. No bullshit or special effects on the guitars, just hitting the strings with power and passion like several bands did that many years ago. Bass player David Trujillo's bass guitar makes the floor goes to shake below your feet and everything's fine with the drum sections of Jos Nunez.

The album has been recorded at Wheel Production studios in Barcelona and produced by the four band members themselves. The mastering job was in hands of Mr. Tommy Newton, well known for his great works with Helloween and Victory. The album sounds good but not so very impressive to me. They're great misicians, but the music isn't original enough for me to speak of a real revelation. As I told in some other reviews, it's just like I've heard it all before. Anyway, give a shit about my meaning and try to check it out by yourself.
