Michel Blanc biography:
Michel Blanc is a drummer, percussionist, and composer from France. On his solo albums he features the same lineup of musicians that make up the band Push the Triangle (soon in the PA database). He approaches his own albums with the same breadth of originality as PTT, one that spans multiple genres yet retains the tight, muscular virtuosity of exceptional musicianship, the solid chops and multiple time signatures (with attendant sharp changes) which often define much in the progressive genre. One can find a myriad of flavours here - free-jazz, avant-rock, metal inflected concepts and even classical ones. And the list goes on with a fury and delight which has garnered Le Passage Eclair the comment "...one of the more captivating music marvels of 2005."
