New progressive supergroup project put together by Gabriele Manzini, the former keyboardist of The Watch and now with Ubi Maior. This is a conceptual work based on a portion of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Silmarillion. Manzini plays with more bombastic flair than he did with The Watch - his organ work reminds of Emerson or Lord but they synth lines are straight out of the Wakeman playbook. The core musicians features members of The Watch, Ubi Maior, and Dunwich.

Apart from Manzini's keyboard work, the real stars are the trio of vocalists that he somehow managed to corral: Damian Wilson (Threshold, Ayreon, Landmarq), Zach Stevens (Savatage, Circle II Circle) and Ted Leonard (Enchant). The music doesn't go into metallic realms so if you are looking for Dream Theater you won't find it here. There are touches of AOR but for the most part this just as I stated - bombastic keyboard driven progressive rock perhaps in the style of Par Lindh Project....but with incredibly well sung vocals. Highly recommended!
