Залито на: iFolderВыкладываю всего один трек, но зато какой! На пробу (целиком - позже, и CD-версию). Всё не нужное (треск винила и прочее) вырезано и исправлено.Long time lost krautrock classic delivering a dynamic, complex combination between fuzzy freak out improvisations (full of Hammond organs and catchy heavy guitar leads) & folk epic arrangements for the flute. They published only one album in 1970 in a rather anonymus way at D. Dierks's studio (for the Brain label in a very limited edition, lately re-published by Second battle). A very accomplished essay. Similar to (early) Deep Purple, Nosferatu and Rufus Zuphall. In the annals of Krautrock, there have often been those bands and albums that don't really fit in the scene comfortably, those that seem to have gained a glowing reputation in collectors circles, yet to me are a mere also-ran. One such band is Sperrmüll, and an album that has to be one of the most patchy around, and certainly no Krautrock classic. A strange name for a band anyway, Sperrmull means "bulky rubbish", so maybe they were trying to tell us all something? Originating from various beat bands in the Aachen area, Sperrmull were formed in early 1971 as the trio of: Harald Kaiser, Reinhold Breuer and Udo Hager, expanding to a quintet with the addition of keyboards and winds shortly after. Demo tapes from these early days, recorded for EMI, are included as a bonus on the Second Battle CD reissue, which present a fine Kraut-fusion band, and some of their best material. It wasn't until December 1972 that they got to record an album, and by then a lot of the early creative spirit had been lost. SPERRMULL only contains one excellent Krautrock number "No Freak Out" which, contrary to its title, is a superb freaky kind of Hendrixy-Hawkwind mixture that rollicks along superbly. Much of the album, however, is rather straight in comparison, and lyrically they were only a step above pop music, sounding like Status Quo on a couple of numbers! Obviously the hype behind SPERRMULL is from those with more conventional hard-rock tastes. Over the next year the band again reduced to a trio and eventually split when the hoped for fame and album sales didn't happen. Afterwards, Helmut Krieg formed the band Winterkrieg along with Jurgen Winter (bass) and Sibbi Siebert (drums) playing straight-ahead hard-rock. They existed off and on through to the 1990's, but seemingly never released anything. The crack in the cosmic egg.Tracklist:02. No Freak Out
