Holidays in Eden is the sixth studio album by the British rock band Marillion and their second with vocalist Steve Hogarth, released in 1991. Produced by Christopher Neil, famous for his work with Mike + The Mechanics, many of the songs feature a more mainstream pop rock sound than the band's previous albums, and Hogarth has described it as "Marillion's 'pop'est album ever". D'Apres Le Horla De Maupassant - вторая работа музыкантов из Квебека после реюниона. Misplaced Childhood is the third studio album by the British neo-progressive rock band Marillion, released in 1985. Recorded during the spring 1985 at Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin and produced by Chris Kimsey known for his work with the Rolling Stones, Misplaced Childhood has been the group's most successful album to date, peaking immediately at the top of the UK charts, spending there a total of 41 weeks, and ultimately gaining the Platinum status. It features Marillion's two most successful singles, guitar-led "Kayleigh" which reached number 2 in the UK, and piano-led "Lavender" which peaked at number 5. The album has received very favourable reviews from critics and is widely considered as Marillion breakthrough release. According to John Franck from AllMusic, the album has been the band's "most accomplished" work to date.
