Formed by Matthew (Matty) David Hanson aka MC Fusion (b. Wednesbury, West Midlands, England), with his dancers, Tyrone (T-Swing) and Kelvin (Mista-G), Credit to the Nation released their first single through Chumbawamba's label Agit Pop in September 1991 entitled "Pay the Price". The following year they recorded "Call It What You Want" through Rugabugger (a local independent label). "Call It What You Want", sampled the guitar riff used by Nirvana on "Smells Like Teen Spirit".They initially printed 1000 7" singles, BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel played it on his John Peel Session on Radio 1. One Little Indian, the label of Bjork and The Shamen, heard the radio show, bought the rights from Ruggabugger and signed them to a three album deal within a week. "Call It What You Want" also appeared on the soundtrack to the Jude Law movie,

World Party is the third studio album by the Atlanta-based, hip hop quartet Goodie Mob. It follows their previous Dirty South classics, Soul Food and Still Standing. This is the last Goodie Mob album with the original four members before their breakup (though all four members have recently joined back together in 2010 to record a new album). Goodie Mob made two other albums after this one with a shortened roster, One Monkey Don't Stop No Show without Cee-Lo and Livin' Life As Lumberjacks without Cee-Lo or Big Gipp. World Party was released in 1999 under LaFace Records as a more commercial alternative to their usual socially conscious lyricism.

Soul Food is the 1995 debut album for the Goodie Mob, released by LaFace Records. Its title track was a hit single and the album included the first use of the term 'dirty south' (originated by Cool Breeze), on the track of the same name. The Goodie Mob quartet includes Cee-Lo Green, Big Gipp, Khujo, and T-Mo. Guest vocalists on this album include Andre 3000 and Big Boi of OutKast, Cool Breeze, and Witchdoctor.
