The two members met in an urban streetwear shop on Queen Street in Auckland,
New Zealand in 2000. As well as 'MOS Presents...',
they have released the 'Fools Love (Ragga Remix)',
a remix to 'Fools Love' featuring Tuff Enchant with its own video.
They were also featured on the soundtrack to PSP/PS3 title Gripshift
contributing the title track 'Shift' specifically made for the game,
5 songs from 'MOS Presents...', including 'Fools Love' and 'Mmmhmm',
and also 'Fools Love (Ragga Remix)'.

G-Slimm was a New Orleans rapper featured on Big Boy Records who was
supposedly killed in 1996 and this was his only solo record.
He did however appear on some of his label mate’s albums such as
Black Menace’s Really Doe, Insane’s Camp 4 Life, Mystikal’s Mind of Mystikal,
and the Ghetto Twinz Surrounded By Criminals.
This album features guest rappers J-Dawg & The Threat (Black Menace),
Insane, and a little known at the time rapper by the name of Mystikal.

Primarily, he is a solo artist, additionally he is a member of the Likwit Junkies,
a rap duo with DJ Babu of Dilated Peoples.
He was born at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles,
California. He attended the University of California, Berkeley.
He began DJing as a young kid in 1982. He was more focused on emceeing,
and by 1995, released his first single "Bionic" on Oakland based ABB Records.
With the help of E-Swift of Tha Alkaholiks, by 1999,
Defari recorded his first album, released on Tommy Boy Records.
