Roy Buchanan is a guitar hero for many guitar players. Since star fame does not count for him, he never achieved the fame that many of his colleagues had. Buchanan recorded a number of good studio albums, but the magic of his guitar playing was revealed to many of his fans during live performances. "Live at Town Hall 1974", a double CD with the two shows he played in New York, is a blossoming example of this. The concerts were recorded with Record Plant Mobile Studio on November 27, 1974 in brilliant sound quality.
