“Destroy That Boy!” It is the sequel to a previous compilation, “Girls With Guitars” and, as with the predecessor, the focus is on the 60 girls bands, diving into the female garage rock world and the “girl-bands” . The compilation brings together basically recordings made between 1963 and 1970, joining groups and soloists from various countries.
The compilation proves beyond doubt that they are so able to grab the guitar and go down the rock, with quality as the male groups.
Album highlight women’s groups as She Trinity, The Liverbirds, The Starlets, The Debutantes, the South African Sharon Tandy or Ann-Margret, among many others.
