Short existed UK band with one important album, where they played mix of
progressive rock & white
blues rock.
THE AWFUL DISCLOSURES OF MARIA MONK features 13 tracks by quirky progressive U.K.
blues rocker Woody Kern and includes the tracks "Biography,"
Blues Keep Falling," and "Uncle John." Full title - Awful Disclosures of Maria Monk. Note Roaming around the borders of psych, prog & British
blues, Woody Kern recorded this long-lost 1969 album - never before released on CD. This long-overdue reissue, which includes their ultra-rare single mixes, finally sets the record straight. Includes two bonus tracks, 'Biography' (Mono Single Version) & 'Tell You I'm Gone' (Mono Single Version). Originally released on Pye Records NSPL (18273). Includes liner notes David Wells, John Peel.
