The Citations, a local quartet featuring Paul Hurt, Rob Pringle, Brad Sprague and Billy Vance, will provide the music. Formed in 2008, The Citations are influenced by renowned blues artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Muddy Waters and B.B. King, but also play a healthy dose of Americana, country and classic rock ’n’ roll. “We always do our best to put our heart and soul into everything we play, and we sing like it’s like our last night on earth, sharing our joy with everyone else,” said Hurt, lead vocalist and guitar player. “Even though they call it the blues, it’s not about being down in the dumps. The blues are about living life, about human emotions. You could say it’s a more organized version of a country song.”
