• Blues For Jimi - концертный альбом блюз-гитариста Гари Мура, который вышел в 2012 году, хотя был записан еще в 2007 году. Альбом представляет собой видеозапись с концерта, на котором Гари Мур исполнял композиции Джимми Хендрикса, в числе которых были: «Voodoo Child (Slight Return)», «Foxy Lady», «The Wind Cries Mary», «Purple Haze», «Hey Joe» и др.
• This unique concert was recorded at the London Hippodrome on 25 October 2007. It formed a part of the launch for the Jimi Hendrix “Live At Monterey” programme and featured Gary Moore and his band performing classic Hendrix tracks. At the end of the night Gary was joined by Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox of the Jimi Hendrix Experience for 3 tracks. Gary Moore was one of the finest British guitarists of all time and is one of the few players who could pay homage to Jimi Hendrix’s groundbreaking and truly distinctive guitar style. This is a stunning tribute from one master guitarist to another.
• Eagle Rock Entertainment are proud to announce the release on 24 September 2012 of the Gary Moore, CD, DVD, Blu-ray and double vinyl title “Blues For Jimi” [Cat Nos EAGCD491, EREDV950, ERBRD5164 and EAGLP493 respectively]. This release captures an unique concert featuring Gary Moore playing Jimi Hendrix tracks, including classics like: “Purple Haze”, “Foxey Lady”, “The Wind Cries Mary”, “Hey Joe”, “Voodoo Child (Slight Return)” and many more. Both Gary Moore and one of his guests Mitch Mitchell have since passed away, so the release of “Blues For Jimi” means that the magic of this night has been captured forever.
This unique concert was filmed at the London Hippodrome on 25 October 2007.
