Hyonteisia voi Rakastaa is the debut album from avant garde rock act Hoyry-Kone from Finland. This album has been a hard one for me to get into. I knew right away that I was fascinated by the music but I couldn?t label it and I had a hard time with the change of style between every song. I?ve come to realise that the album is cohesive even though it?s as diverse as it is though and that Hyonteisia voi Rakastaa is a great unique album.

Since the mind-seventies Stephan Kohr has been playing woodwinds and keyboards in german jazz fusion and avantgarde bands. 1985 he was appointed as basson and contrabassoon player in a renowned german opera and symphony orchestra. His romance with wind-controlled live electronics started 1979, when he played a pitchfollowing analog guitar synth module via a contact mike on the basson reed.

Its title and subject matter are taken from the Nation of Gods and Earths teachings that only 5% of the population is enlightened, good, and willing to help those who are oppressed. It features guests from Wu-Tang Clan members RZA and Raekwon the Chef, fellow Brand Nubian Members Grand Puba and Sadat X, Wu-Tang affiliate Poppa Wu, and the sons of GZA (Young Justice), Ol' Dirty Bastard (Young Dirty), and Jamar's own son (Young Lord).

It contains his two hit singles: "Because I Got High" and "Crazy Rap", along with his other popular songs from his two albums. The song "Mississippi" is different on this album than on the original version. The album was certified gold in the United States on October 24th, 2001 by the RIAA.
