Vocals, Tony Willis - Bass, Adam Taylor - Keyboards, Jim Pitchforth - Drums & Vocals and James
Lawton - Violin. This line up was short lived and many line ups were to appear in the following years.
Gafro joined in 1992 although other commitments were to make him an intermittent member. Trevor
Griffiths joined the band in 1994 on Drums as did bassist Jezz Watson. This line up of Jon Trevor and Jez
recorded GADZOOKS! They were augmented by keyboard genius Nigal Chapman and Percussion
wizard Peter (Pierre) Birkby who later joined 60s and 70s superstar Shirley Bassey's band. This period
was a very busy one for ENVIZIBLE ORKESTRA with plenty of tours and gigs. The following year OF
HEAVEN BORN was recorded but due to other engagements Jez Watson was unable to supply his
superb bass skills to the ether the album or subsequent tour. He was replaced by the formidable Adrian
(Bill) Bailey currently of BLUE APPLE BOY.
After the 1996 tour the band was put on the back burner for a while only playing one gig for a T.V. show
to promote the compilation CD WELCOME TO THE SHOW in 1997.

In the year 2000 and with new financial backing the line up of Jon, Jez and Gafro with new member,
keyboardist Richard Simpkins began to work on new things again. the outcome was FORGE THE
TRIANGLE. The project was not completed until the later part of 2001 with Jon fulfilling his commitments
with another more commercial band at this time.
Now with full focus on ENVIZIBLE ORKESTRA again the band are set to return to the stage with new
vigour to please the crowds on the FORGERY TOUR planned for the later half of 2002. Watch this site for
tour dates.
1996 TOUR POSTER
The music of ENVIZIBLE ORKESTRA has matured over the last 10 or so years with the new album
sounding simply stunning in both the production values and the musical ability of the band. FORGE THE
TRIANGLE has a more accessible quality about it with songs like WE STAND ALONE sounding almost
like POP music (but not quite).
Richard Simpkins with his training in Classical as well as jazz has brought an element of sound not
present on previous E.O. albums, reminiscent of classic PINK FLOYD and GENESIS. Jon's Guitar
playing is fluid, fast and melodic with grater expression than previously heard. Almost a marriage of
HOLDSWORTH and GILMOUR. Jez and Gafo gel solidly too, even over rapidly shifting meters.
"This band is at the forefront of modern Progressive Jazz/Rock"
