A little-known band from the United States who recorded, during the short period of their activity, two singles: "Sweet water/Sing, sing, sing" (1970) and "(I'm a) One man band/All fall down" 1971) on the label "Rare Earth".
The self-titled album was released in the US, Britain and Germany.
Guy Fletcher and Doug Flett were the producers of the band, as well as the authors and arrangers of the songs, including The Hollies, Ray Charles, Tom Jones, Joe Cocker, Bay City Rollers and others.
By the way, Guy Fletcher is the uncle of the keyboardist of Dire Straits.
The Brass Monkey's music is a psychedelia tempered with
hard rock, good vocals and good guitars.
