Великолепный гитарист, помимо основного инструмента превосходно владеющий басом, клавишными и тонко разбирающийся в современных компьютерных технологиях, взяв за основу для соло-альбома ритмы фламенко, высадил на благодатной почве совершенные гибриды. Нужно обладать поистине нестандартным мышлением и неординарными композиторскими способностями, дабы из традиционных мотивов вылепить прогрессив-роковые, психоделические и абсолютно неподдающиеся четкой классификации номера. Главное – не обращать внимания на красноречивое название диска. Явные проявления собственно фламенко здесь фактически сведены к нулю. Стопроцентная музыкальная маскировка от мастера саунд-камуфляжа. На правах изюминки классный мультимедийный трек “Dementia”, сыгранный в компании колоритнейших японских рокеров. (Сергей "Sage" Волков)

Steve Stevens is well-known as one of the supreme architects of heavy rock & roll guitar, as his epic performances on Billy Idol's hits such as "White Wedding" and "Eyes Without a Face" readily attest. This solo album is a wonderful surprise. Stevens' explorations into classical and flamenco music will certainly catch a lot of people off guard, but that's probably precisely the point. Stevens wails and floats through the tracks here with a snake-like abandon, mostly on classical, nylon-string guitar. Flamenco.A.Go.Go also borders on being a dance record, and the rhythms and tempos will no doubt grab every listener. It's mostly an instrumental album, although there are a few wonderful vocal sections. In the end, you have a wondrous, exploratory album which presents one of the finest guitarists of the last 20 years flexing his muscles and stretching his creativity. Fabulous. (Matthew Greenwald)

This mammoth five-CD set collects a variety of the progressive music legends' late-period releases, from 1994's Talk to 2001's Magnification. Taken as a whole, it's a demonstration of the band's continued vitality and willingness to experiment, particularly in the orchestral arrangements of the latter album, their first to feature an orchestra since 1970's Time And A Word. For good measure, there's also a CD featuring live selections from a 2003 concert in Montreux.

This sumptuous six-disc box kicks off an extensive reissue program of the band's previously neglected back catalog in commanding fashion. In addition to the original tunes in both stereo and mono, a treasure trove of rarities is unearthed on the second CD devoted to each album. The Bee Gees' often innovative use of orchestration, introduced on Bee Gees 1st's opening "Turn of the Century" and "Holiday," continues through 1968's Horizontal and Idea. Forecast: Tomorrow is a 3-CD/1-DVD career-spanning compilation of recordings of Weather Report. The 37 tracks are presented chronologically, beginning with three tracks pre–Weather Report, from ensemble duties with Miles Davis (both Zawinul and Shorter), Cannonball Adderley (Zawinul), and from a Shorter solo album. In addition to one unreleased track, the set closes with DJ Logic's remix of a Weather Report track.
The 4th disc in the package is a 2-hour DVD of a concert in Offenbach am Main, on September 29, 1978 for the German TV program Rockpalast. The boxed set includes a 100-page book with notes on the set by compiler Bob Belden, a long essay on the band by Hal Miller, and a reminiscence of the 1978 concert by drummer Peter Erskine.
